Food addiction and binge eating from a different perspective
After decades of struggle, study, and a self-funded research survey with more than 40,000 people, I discovered a surprisingly unusual way to stop overeating. I used to feel I couldn’t stop thinking about food, even when working with patients. I was almost 70 pounds overweight and was fully capable of dislodging my jaw to empty the delicatessen into it!

Disillusioned by what traditional psychology had to offer overweight and individuals suffering from food addiction, Dr. Livingston spent several decades researching the nature of binging and overeating via work with his patients and a self-funded research program with more than 40,000 participants.
Most significant, however, was his personal journey out of obesity and food prison to an average, healthy weight and a much-improved relationship with food.
